NGC Finds (2015-2018)

Made from remnants collected during my PhD, ‘NGC Finds (2015-2018)’ showcases the variety of processes and techniques used at NGC, including lampworking, hot glass, architectural glass, 3D printing, glass printing, waterjet cutting, ceramics, and more. With limited prior knowledge of glass, collecting these ‘waste’ objects—the pieces left behind—was my way of learning about the people and the place. Each fragment tells its own story. Stitched onto a fabric background, reminiscent of archaeological finds, the work serves as a reminder of the beauty in what is left behind.

This artwork will be shown at ‘The Graduates’ group show and will be the final exhibition presented at National Glass Centre before the building closes at the end of July 2026.
